Key Challenges
  • High student numbers in a rapidly growing suburb
  • Stakeholder coordination across multiple agencies
  • Ensuring seamless integration with the school’s existing masterplan

Alamanda K–9 College, located in one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing suburbs, has one of the largest student enrolments in Victoria. To support significant infrastructure upgrades, Grove delivered four triple-storey modular buildings, creating teaching spaces for 600 students.

The project involved close collaboration with the school community, the Department of Education, and architects responsible for the broader campus masterplan. The resulting learning hub connects efficiently to the existing school, enabling the smooth flow of students throughout the precinct. Each building includes a lift for accessibility and fully compliant fire safety systems, ensuring a modern, inclusive, and regulation-ready educational facility.

Grove delivered this entire project with incredible speed and professionalism—without disrupting school operations. The new learning spaces have transformed our ability to accommodate our growing student population.
